NML organizes a weekly food distribution, which has been running for the past three years and serves between 70 and 90 families per week in Ithaca, NY. The food distribution provides grocery items (fresh produce, shelf stable items such as canned beans and pasta, frozen meat, eggs, dairy, bread), and is completely free and open to anyone who wishes to participate.  In addition to grocery offerings, NML also occasionally provides pre-cooked meals for clients to take home. These pre-cooked meals have proved to be extremely popular, as they allow families and individuals who are unhoused or who are currently living in temporary housing/without a kitchen to access a nutritious and balanced meal.

NML also hosts community celebrations, supports youth, and advocates for underserved people in our community.
